SCADA stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, software packages for the supervisory part of process and production automation. In the US these packages are often referred with the name HMI . Some names are : Intouch (Wonderware), iFix (Intellution), WinCC (Siemens), Citect Scada (CI technologies), Wizcon (Axeda), Cimpicity (GE Fanuc) and Factory Link (US Data) but there are many more.
